It's not just the lack of trade shows thats hurting Vegas.

Bookings and traveler numbers will continue to decline as people stay home and save whatever money they have.  Only an idiot would go to Vegas and spend money on the tables or slots with the shitty payouts nowdays.  And dont get me started on the overpriced mediocre shows.  You are going to see some real pain in 2009.  My wife and I left Vegas some 6 months ago and I couldnt be happier.
